My computer skills span more than 25 years, and I’ve been building web sites for over 15 years.

After several years developing skills in administration, data entry, customer service, and bookkeeping, I returned to school to complete a diploma in Business Administration – Information Systems at Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario.

For the next few years, I was fortunate to further develop my computer skills through contracts in the setup and configuration of computers, programming, building databases, instructing computer classes, and software consulting.

It was in the late-1990’s, while working at a computer training company, that I discovered my passion for developing web sites. Although initially self-taught, I’ve completed a Web Site Design Certificate, and continue to expand my knowledge and skills through workshops, online training, and challenging myself to learn new technologies with each new project.

I’ve also taught part-time evening courses in basic HTML/CSS and Dreamweaver at Fleming College.

In my spare time (I have a full-time day job) I enjoy developing web sites for new clients, and helping existing clients maintain their websites. My favourite accomplishment is taking a client’s old website and replacing it with a more modern WordPress site, and then getting feedback that their visitor traffic has increased significantly.
